Congratulations to Mandy for being selected for the position of Coaching Liason Officer for the Association. Mandys role will be working with the Heads of the Association arranging coaching courses, keeping records.

Club Grading on Monday 28th April

On Monday 28th April, we have our Annual Grading, which is to be held at the Hawkinge venue. This is a combined grading, juniors and Adults. The grading will start at approximately 18.30. We would like all juniors to be registered and on the mat, no later than 18.15pm. Please remember to bring your grading book, completed with photograph and personal details.

Registration for juniors 18.15pm All books to be handed in Grading starts 18.30 prompt Please bring a drink.

Hopefully the juniors grading will finish at 20.00hrspm

Adults will start at 20.00hrs

Association Day with Roy Shepherd

I would like to thank all those from the Cinque Ports that attended the association day at Sensei Roy Shepherds class, fantastic day, excellent tuition, some interesting pressure points, look forward to next years class, many thanks to Roy and his students.

Knee op

Just thought I'd let you all know that I've now had the operation on my knee that I've been waiting for for so long. I had an arthroscopy carried out and the surgeon found a torn meniscus which he removed. I left the hospital an hour or so after the operation was completed and managed to carefully walk back to the car, which I wasn't driving! (Thanks, Helen!)

I'm currently sitting on the settee with my feet up. :)

Don't think I'll be training for a while now... but I don't expect you'll notice the difference anyway! :D

Monday Night

Just a quickie news item to say thanks to Sensei Mandy and Nick for taking the "extra" holiday training last night.

These extra sessions are only possible if people turn up, so I would like to thank all those who went and encourage others to consider next Monday as we had a really enjoyable time.
